The Diversity in National Security Network is working to highlight the contributions of diverse practitioners in U.S. national security and foreign policy.
This work started with first a call to Bring More Diversity to the National Security Arena, followed by a series of lists featuring Black American and AAPI National Security & Foreign Policy Next Generation Leaders. This project continues by seeking to highlight the work of Latinos in national security and foreign policy.
We are seeking nominations for Latinos in these relevant areas including, but not limited to: military and defense, diplomacy, cybersecurity, regional expertise, media and communications in national security, etc. Honorees are currently working on national security and/or foreign policy issues; identify as Latino; and write or speak on relevant issues, are currently in a relevant fellowship, or otherwise working on National Security and/or Foreign Policy issues at an expert level.
Please nominate national security & foreign policy experts that identify as Latino by 11:59PM EST on August 12, 2019.Nominees should be mid career, have demonstrable expertise in national security and/or foreign policy, and are working or have worked in national security or foreign policy.
